1. Overview & Commitment

This Privacy Policy describes our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information when you use Pocket Expenses (the "Application" or "Service"), published by Unique Creations.

We believe managing your personal finances should be private, convenient and empowering. By using the Service, you consent to the handling of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum amount of data required to provide expense tracking:

Account & profile information: if you choose to sign in, we collect your email address and profile name to deliver one-time verification passcodes (OTP) and to synchronise your shared expenses across devices.
Expense & financial entries: the amounts, dates, categories and notes you enter. In Guest Mode this information is stored only on your own device and never reaches our servers.
Face ID & biometric verification: when you enable Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint unlock, the check is performed by your operating system (Apple LocalAuthentication / Android BiometricPrompt). We never capture, receive or store your biometric data.
Device & diagnostics data: basic technical details such as operating system version and browser type, used to investigate crashes and improve the layout on different screens.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely for these operational needs:

To calculate balances, category summaries, monthly budgets and analytics.
To synchronise shared expenses and balances between people you have chosen to share with.
To verify sign-in requests using temporary one-time passcodes sent by email.
To maintain service stability, security and to fix problems.

No advertising. We do not display third-party advertisements, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers that profile you. We never sell, rent or share your financial records with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Security & Data Protection

Passwordless architecture: sign-in uses a one-time passcode sent to your email. We do not ask for, use or store a password for your account, so there is no password to leak.
Encryption in transit: all traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
On-device guest data: Guest Mode records are held in your device's own app storage, which other websites and apps cannot read.

No online service can promise perfect security, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum needed to run the app.

5. Your Data Control & Deletion

Edit or delete entries: you can change or delete any expense, category or task at any time inside the app.
Clear guest data: in Guest Mode, removing the app or clearing its storage erases every record permanently. Guest data is not backed up, so it cannot be recovered afterwards.
Delete your account: registered users can delete their account and its records from Profile inside the app, or by emailing us at contactssnapps@gmail.com.

6. Children & Policy Updates

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
